Paul originally joined Speakeasy in 1986,  replacing Arturo Sandoval on trumpet, because he just wasn't cutting the mustard.  Paul is the unassuming leader of the band,  mainly because he assumes nobody else wants the job!  He has been in the music biz since he was a wee lad of 17 years and has played professionally with various groups around Brew Town.  Paul has been characterized as "The swizzle stick that stirs the Speakeasy cocktail",  this is a quote from Mr. Stanton, who is half of Milwaukee's Dancing sensation, Myke and Debbi.   Mr. Masson plays trumpet, drums, cowbell when Mike Dison isn't looking, and sings backing vocals and lead vocals on all the intimidating songs.
